Operations Director – The OD is the right hand of the operator. This person

should see the business not only through their own eyes but also through the lens of the operator.

The OD must understand and live out Bristol – Mac Hospitality’s mission, “Serve the Home

team with “Remarkable” People. The OD must also exude the qualities of Servant Leadership,

Stewardship, Accountability, Teamwork and Dreamwork

The following, but not limited to, are tasks that are the responsibility of the OD..

  • Security - first contact for Security Concerns
  • Safety - assure FOH OSHA, Safety/Security and FOG Training is maintained yearly
  • Oversee FOH Hospitality training (Dining and Front Counter)
  • Responsible for FOH rollout training and corresponding menu board changes up to date
  • Assure FOH equipment is maintained and functioning properly
  • Support, Communicate and understand the functions of each department leader
  • Support Drive Thru Operations
  • Involved in FOH Scheduling
  • Meet w/Leadership weekly to plan, discuss challenges and brainstorm ideas in relationship to the 5 Critical Success Factors

Mission, People, Operational Excellence, Sales and Brand Growth, Financial Return

  • Support the HR Department with Team Member life cycle
  • Assist Operations Team in managing FOH Drive Thru and Front Counter Operations
  • Oversee disciplinary actions properly according to the BMH Policy Handbook
  • End of Month – assist Sr. Operations Director in executing EOM
  • Develop yearly plan around 5 critical success factors with operator and leaders
  • Make sure Emails and Time Punches FOH are checked daily
  • Check daily sales report for cash short/over, refunds and discounts
  • Ensure labor laws are being followed and proper documentation of FOH team members


Score Card

  • FOH is maintained properly and team has necessary equipment
  • Scheduling is completed no later than Wednesday afternoon for the next week Oversee
  • FOH Sedgwick claims and all communications are complete
  • Team members are following proper safety procedures
  • Properly staffed for all shifts
  • Top 3 in Orange County Drive Thru Experience
  • CEM scores trending positive according to peers and region
  • Cash over/shortage is trending positively
